About this Dataroom
This data file generated by 23andMe at: Wed Jul 20 19:32:26 2011
Each line corresponds to a single SNP. For each SNP, we provide its identifier (an rsid or an internal id), its location on the reference human genome, and the genotype call oriented with respect to the plus strand on the human reference sequence.
We are using reference human assembly build 36. Note that it is possible that data downloaded at different times may be different due to ongoing improvements in our ability to call genotypes. More information about these changes can be found at:

what can you do with this info? If I had my genome, could we tell how many generations ago we shared ancestors?
Hey Serge! Hopefully if you clone my body, you will fix all of the problems first. :)
I posted my DNA because I wanted to prove a point — that nothing bad happens when you share your genetics with the world.
It's also worth mentioning that me posting my DNA precluded us having this conversation, and that's a central reason for participating on BuzzData.
Your Genome has way more followers than my Genome. I must be less clone worthy...
One could ask what else it would be! I'm taking suggestions...
You could have at least bought me a drink, first! :)
I have to say I love the idea of having a data-based profile, whose root is genome data. @Pete did they give you any summary analysis of your SNPs? Like, in layman terms?
Yes! There's a blog post coming.
