About this Dataroom

This data set in a subset of the Vancouver Parks Board Tree Inventory data set. The full data set contains over 150,000 trees, this subset includes all those in the Strathcona neighbourhood.

Cell, Assigned Adress & On Street

Cells are logical divisions around the lot. Starting from the front of the property on the right in a counter-clockwise direction. 24 cells are defined on any lot and extended to medians around the property up to 48 cells.

Cells are elastic according to lot size and shape.

Trees in cells 1-24 will have address 1234 Street A. Trees in cells 1-7 is on the 1,000 block of Street A. Trees in cells 8-13 is on 3,000 block of Street B. Trees in cells 25-31 will have address 1234 Street A assigned.

Trees in traffic circles will have cell number zero (0).
